NextDesk is written in Java and launches using Java Web Start. This ensures that your version of NextDesk is always kept up-to-date. A minimum of Java 1.5 is required on your computer. To find out what version you currently have, click here.

Problems?
If you have problems launching NextDesk, please try the following (in order):

• If your browser asks to download a JNLP file, please choose to open this with Java Web Start.
• Click the launch button again (sometimes a transient network problem will pass, or Java Web Start may upgrade itself first time round)
• Manually install Java, then try the launch button again
• Contact us

Security Popups
When launching NextDesk you may see security popups asking you to verify a digital signature. Please accept these popups. This happens because NextDesk requires access to your Desktop in order for you to be able to drag and drop files. Future versions of NextDesk may no longer require this permission.
